Some one, very likely Sgt. Pezzula, found this showerhead in a local store in Foggia Italy. Our battalion guns were placed around the airfield of the 15th Air Force at that time.

What you see in this photo are my first efforts in setting up this shower anticipating that I could get a spare used gas tank from the 15th.

Well, the men in Headquarters Company immediately became interested and before two days passed, we had a shower combination outdoor washstand.

I did not know that some of these men were former plumbers, electricians, and one was an engineering student.
